CBD has come a long way and has made a name for itself in the wellness industry. The variety of products to select from and the brands to bank on, are more than you can count. With the legalization of hemp and hemp-derived CBD, the markets have grown and spread in all directions. But the problem that still lingers in the minds of many is the legality. Yes, it is true that the passing of the Farm Bill in 2018 has given the green signal to hemp CBD manufacturers, but there are plenty of CBD law restrictions and regulations that if you manage to miss, can end up landing you in trouble.
The last thing you want is to be stopped by a patrol car for a speeding violation, searched, and found with a CBD product that has THC content a tad more than the permissible 0.3%. The result? You are definitely not going home that day.
We are going to point out the things that you should be mindful about, as a responsible CBD consumer. Read on…
Things To Keep In Mind
Don’t Open Your Mouth To Everything You’re Fed
Don’t be fooled by the mentions of cannabis sativa, and only hemp seed oil in it. Remember that you must question the ingredients and the purity of the CBD product. Make sure to look at the list of ingredients and find out anything that you are allergic to. Apart from the CBD, there is also carrier oils in it that you should be careful about.
If you are buying a full spectrum CBD extract, then make sure that the THC percentage is within the permissible. Although the federal regulation says that 0.3% THC is what is permitted, different states have different regulations. So be aware of what these are.
The Certificate Of Analysis (COA)
The most important piece of document that you must ask the CBD supplier or manufacturer for! This has all the relevant information relating to the various ingredients, cannabinoids such as terpenes and chromenes that are present in the CBD product. The COA will also tell you how much of each of the ingredients are present in the bottle or packaging.
Whatever be it, make sure that the testing is not done in-house, but by a third-party certified laboratory. There is no point in looking through a COA if it is tailored by the CBD supplier to best sell their CBD products.
Keep a sharp eye and make sure to put in the time to research CBD reviews for good CBD products…always!
